Not long ago I received a box in the mail with the above 1 whole gallon of Dish Liquid (I tend to call it dish soap but that isn't it's accurate name)! I was quite excited. For one thing it is natural and the more we can get away from chemicals, unnatural fragrances and the like the more I like it, for another thing there is a ton of it- I won't have to buy more for a long time! The question that remained was: "Does it work?"
I have used it several times and then my sister came and stayed with me and she tried it out too. We were both quite happy with it. It cuts grease, dishes come clean and it keeps its suds longer that the normal stuff that I had before. I like it! I guess this review is short and sweet but when you have a simple product that does it's job what more to say than simply "it works!"?
Here is some more information if you like the details:

ReplyDeleteMy best dishwashing tip . . . I always make sure my sink is clean and empty at night so I can wake up to a clean start in the morning! :)
I also signed up for their e-mail newsletter. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool you got a gallon. I am glad it works.
ReplyDeleteMy best dishwashing tip is wash dishes right away to avoid the food drying and crusting on. Also I like to make sure to do all my dishes at night so I can wake up to a clean sink.
I like buying dish soap in the bulk size because I have a soap dispenser built into my sink. I just keep refilling it. I have also found that dish soap is a good laundry stain remover. Have you ever tried this product on laundry?
ReplyDeleteMy best tip: Keep a sink full of washing water while you are baking/creating/making things so you can soak them and then easily wash them afterwards.
ReplyDeleteMy excuse: Even if I wash them, there will always be more!!!!! :)
My best tip is to use paper plates!!! Just kidding :) I like to wash them right away to get them out of the way!!! Thanks

My best dishing washing tip is to do the dishes right away but if you can't to at least all some water so the food doesn't dry on making it harder to wash.

Wash your pots and pans before you sit down to eat to make it seem like less to wash afterward and they are easier to wash right away.

The best tip is to cut your sponges in half a pack will last twice as long and I don't feel as guilty tossing them after a week.
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is save it for the morning and wake up early to wash. I know that sounds lazy, but i just do a better job (and I do not do it as grudgingly ha) if I wash them in the AM.
ReplyDeleteI just posted that last comment about washing in the AM. I hit the wrong button and didn't put my name...sorry :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have any great tips and I wish I were better at getting chores done in a timely matter.

I'm a bit of a procrastinator, but I always make sure I rinse the dishes after each meal so they're not twice as hard to wash the next day if I don't get to them until then.

My tip is to wash the dishes as soon as possible so they don't pile up! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

ReplyDeleteBest dishwashing tip.....just do it. Dishes are one of the banes of my existence - but it helps so much to just do it and not let it pile up. It's easier to get them clean that way too.

If you rinse your dishes out after cooking with them, etc., they are SO much easier to wash then just letting them sit on the counter or pile in the sink unrinsed until you're ready to do the dishes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I'd love to try this!

I do not have much in the way of tips..My 3 children are each in charge of washing the dishes for 1 of the meals daily, leaving me with only baking or snack dishes. I do find washing the dishes after each meal or snack and soaking the bowls/pots makes it seem less overwheling.

My dishwashing tip is to soak, soak, soak. I hate scrubbing and fill up the things that need soaking right after dinner with hot water and soap or at the beginning of dishwashing and do them last. Time is precious with little ones and who wants to spend it chained to a sink? Thanks for the chance!

My best dishwashing tip is to hand wash your glasses. The dishwasher really does a number on them.

my best tip is to get the dishes loaded as soon as possible in the dishwasher or washed asap! Easier to clean and then you don't have to think about it (which I could always folow my tip!)
