Romans 10:9 & 10 says: "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus Christ is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
This seems to me such a clear and simple teaching in the Bible. We need to openly tell others that we believe Jesus Christ is Lord. Here are some more verses on this subject:
Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Luke 12:8 " Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:"
So, today's thought is very simple and not hard but obviously something that is very important to God. Have you made this confession?
