20 Homemade gifts for under $10

For Frugal Friday today the Theme was to tell about gifts that where under $10. (I missed that memo and wrote a post on doughnuts instead but since that topic is right up my alley I thought I would post on that too even if it is late.) I will honestly say that most of the gifts that we give in this household are under $10. That doesn't mean that they are worth under $10, but because we are willing to put time and creativity into them they cost us less then $10. So, here are a few ideas that I have shared before. The links will take you to other posts that explain them in more detail.

Gifts you can Sew:

Gifts from Paper:
Gifts to make with your Glue Gun:

There are so many more that could be listed but I think I will finish with that tonight. We have been having fun making simple, frugal gifts around here. I hope you have fun as well! I would love to hear your ideas and please come back next Thursday and link them up to A Handmade Christmas!

  2. I love these ideas. I especially love the doll house link...that is amazing! I was wanting to get a doll house for my daughter...I don't know why I did not think of this. Maybe for next year, if I work on it little by little over the year. I love all your ideas. Thank you so much for sharing.

I don't yet do as many homemade things as I would like. Partly due to the life stage I am at with a baby, but also since I lack inspiration. So thank you for giving me some!

This year we are making my oldest a book about her, inspired by your busy book idea, but done with just paper and printed computer pictures of her, in an "early reader" format so she can read it.

  3. Hey, Love all your wonderful ideas. The rice pads are a favorite here! A couple years ago I made one for myself and used it and then thought I better make 4 more just incase. Oh yeah a big hit with this family. Last year for Christmas I made each of them another one because it seems like one each just wasn't enough. Right now I have one laying on my feet. This afternoon I came into the room to see my 15 year old with one on top of his head while at the computer. I said what are you doing and he said putting the heat in. lol Take Care :)
