Emoji Bible Stories - Game Review

Megan and I dealt with colds that last part of last week, so I didn't work at the flower shop and we just kind of relaxed. In our relaxing we decided to do a little game playing. I talked her in to playing this one with me so that I could review it.

Emoji Bible Stories Card Game actually has 4 different variations that you can play. We played one called "Snap and Redeem".  To play it each played has two story cards that have 6 emojis on them that go along with the story. The players have to flip over cards and compete to get emoji cards that match their story cards. Once you get 3 emoji cards that match the story card then you can redeem your story card. The first played to get 3 story cards redeemed, wins.

This card games is of good quality and I like the versatility of it. Besides the game that we played there is also a Bible Story telling game, a guess a Bible Story game and a Match and Guess game.

You could also use it in a class setting where you could tell stories and illustrate it as you go along with emojis. I think this could be a useful tool for a Sunday School Teacher.
These pictures show the various types of cards. Above on the top left is a story card that actually tells the story on it, on the back side there is a lesson that can be gained from the story (see card in picture below). Top right card shows the title of the story and the different emojis that go with it. Then the bottom row is the emojis that they suggest go with the story.

There are many more story cards and many more emojis cards than those shown.

The suggested age for this game is for ages 6 plus. It is supposed to take around 15 minutes to play. You can have 2-6 players.

This is another game put out by Bible Games Central. If you would like to buy this or another game you can visit their shop. If you do that before December 10th remember to use the code: GAMES20 to get 20% off.

Also, Bible Games Central has a bunch of games that are available for free. I was having fun perusing through the ones that they have for adults this evening. I was rather excited to see that they have a Bible Taboo version available that you can print off for free. It has a total of 400 cards so I think that would keep you busy for quite a while. I think this would be fun to use sometime when we host youth group at our place.

Does your family play games when you are relaxing? What does your family like to do to have fun together?
