Feeling Blessed

Ken and I - Thankful for the 15 years that God has given us together.
This past December Ken and I celebrated our 15th Anniversary. As a surprise for our Anniversary Ken presented me with an itinerary of a trip he had planned to Florida (mostly in the Keys) in the month of March. Yesterday evening we arrived home from that trip.

Traveling is a fun thing. We often see so many new and different things and I am amazed once again at the awesomeness of God our Creator.

I plan on blogging about our trip in more detail later (mostly just because I enjoy having the record) but for now I thought it would be fun to share some of the types of things that we were able to enjoy on our trip.
~Birds of many sizes and types. Does anybody know what this one is?
~Plants of all varieties. This one was so fun!
~The Ocean and the Gulf - So much water... so much salt! It was fun to enjoy it for a week.
~Flowers! Oh my, the variety was so fun to enjoy especially since it had been a while since I had seen any growing outside.
 ~Swimming and snorkeling.
~Unique and varied foods including stone crab and conchwurst.
~Lots of animals. Seeing a Manatee in the wild was such a thrill!
~Exercising and exploring- Kayaking was a fun part of that.
~Sunrises and sunsets - so beautiful over the water.
 ~Many different types of fruits.
~The beach.

It was a fun vacation but it is also lovely to be home. I have enjoyed loving on my children (they had a fun week at my parents) and getting used to home again as well as catching up with everybody at church last night and then at our homeschool group today and now I hope to catch up a little with you all as well! I feel so very blessed!

Looks like a lot of fun, praise the Lord for 15 years!! I think the bird is a yellow-crowned night heron. What wondrous creation God has made for us to explore.
