I found this encouraging and I thought you all might as well. May we always seek God and His Truth and then share that with our children.

My life's list

To Glorify God and seek His will and do it.
Gather and fix a wild food meal
Go on a family history learning trip on the East Coast (partially done, but we didn't see enough!)
Complete the suzuki method in both violin and cello
Memorize a complete book of the Bible (Did the book of James and Colossians)
Write and try to publish a book
Visit Europe
Visit Isreal
Make soap (including making my own lye)
Keep bees (We're doing it!)
Learn how to tat (we took a class but still have to practice)
Go ice fishing
Go on a canoe trip in the Boundery Waters (Went in 2012)
Learn how to spin and weave
Make paper with my kids (Done)

"Defining Noah Webster" by K. Allan Snyder
"John Adams" by David McCullough (read and enjoyed)
"Tale of two cities" by Charles Dickens (Read aloud to the kids - enjoyed it)
"The Crusader, Ronald Regan and the fall of communism" By Paul Kengor (read it - had some interesting facts but was overall rather dry)
"Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defore (Read aloud to the kids- we enjoyed it.)
"Will the real heretics please stand up" by David W. Bercot (Very good!)
"How to enjoy your life and your job" by Dale Carnegie (Fun and encouraging)
"And the angels were silent" by Max Lucado (Read)
"A shepherd looks at Ps. 23" By Phillip Keller (read aloud to the kids - interesting)
"Evidence that demands a verdict" by Josh McDowell
"Founding Fathers, uncommon heroes" by Steven W. Allen (Really good! I learned a lot.)
