Another Crocheted Sweater and Can you guess where I've been?

Wow, it has been over a week since I have written a post. I know there have been posts on here but that is thanks to the handiness of being able to schedule posts. We have been traveling. The picture above is one of the photos I took on our trip. For those of you who don't already know, Can you guess where we have been?

While traveling I worked at finishing up a sweater that I had started at the State Convention. I found the pattern in a library book called "Candy Babies" by Candi Jensen. It has a lot of cute things in it.

In the book the sweater was done in only one color. I had planned to do that as well but I was using up scrap yarn and the dark green didn't go as far as I thought it would so the sweater became two toned.

I decided to do the sleeves a little differently as well with picot edging on them as well as the neckline. I thought the size would be more adjustable by making sleeves that could fold up to be shorter or leave long.

The recipient of this sweater is my sweet niece Corianna. Babies are so fun to crochet for!

So are you going to tell us? :)Somewhere in the Rockies? Looks like out west to me...but I've only ever been in the Rockies as far as moutains go.

Corianna looks so sweet. I love babies...

Nice sweater too! Great job.

That reminds me of Dillon, Colorado. Beautiful! And so is the sweater! I admire your ability to do that!

My frame of reference is the Northwest. That could almost be Crater Lake. Hope your travels were wonderful. Your baby sweater is very sweet!

It looks like Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe to me.

Thanks everybody, especially for playing my guessing game! :-)
Amanda is right that it is Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. We were up hiking on the California side but for most of our trip we were visiting family on the Nevada side. I will post about our trip soon.

The sweater and baby are so cute. Well, the baby is cuter, but I do think the sweater turned out great. :-)
