Thanks be to God!

"But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness." Romans 6:17 & 18

This past week has been an unusual one and I hardly took any pictures so this post will be without photos. This week was certianly full of reasons to give thanks to my Almighty God! Here are a few of the gifts that came from Him.....

#351 Good health! Last week I ended up getting sick with some weird symptoms that ended up even sending us to the ER, It is such a blessing to be back to good health and not have anything seriously wrong.

#352 A strong husband who can tote me around easily when nessasary. :-)

#353 Parents who are always there and willing to help when we need them.

#354 A beautiful daughter who is growing up so fast and can practically run the house by herself when needed.

#355 That only 1/2 of our family got sick!

#356 Kids that are growing up and can now make it to the toilet before throwing up. This is a great step in growing up! :-)

#357 Ears to hear with. And being able to hear well again thanks to help from my Dad.

#358 Warmer weather!

#359 Beautiful Sunshine!

#360 A fun trip to see my sister Anna and her family.

#361 Getting to have my sister Keren ride with us.

#362 Safe Driving.

#363 Freedom from sin! What a wonderful freedom that is!

holy experience

I am sorry you were so sick. Also, did your sickness cause a hearing problem? I am glad you are better now. Take care.

Glad you are better now! I had to smile at the being thankful for kids making it to a toilet one. I have only had to (thankfully) deal with a child one time throwing up (although it was several times that one sickness)...but it was so not fun and I remember wishing they could at least make it onto the tile floor if not the toilet :)

Thank you all for your kind wishes!

Jackie, My sickness didn't cause the hearing problem, I had gotten that earlier. I am not quite sure what the total problem is yet but one ear was sounding "scratchy" inside (it still does a little) when I would talk, sing or chew and so I decided to try cleaning it with a bulb syringe. My attempt at cleaning I think must of loosened stuff up but I hardly got anything out. So for a couple of weeks I went around feeling like the ear was totally stuffed with cotton balls. My Chiropractor adjusted things and the Dr. at the ER confirmed that it was full of wax and suggested that I clean it! Anyway, my dad ended up being able to help me clean it out and I can hear much better again. :-)
