Another of our (Well mostly Jonathan's) recent projects was a wooden tray. He made it using a kit that we had been given from Home Depot.
After it was nailed and glued together he painted it green and then he painted a flower on it.
We used it to hold some homemade note cards and other stationary items as a gift for my Mom for her birthday. It was a rather fun project and not terribly time consuming. (We have really been enjoying painted lately, I have more painted projects to post before to long.)
